Drinking Straw Action Pal — Making action pals out of drinking straws is very easy to do. All your child needs to do is draw a pal on stiff paper like card stock or an index card. Your child needs to draw the same pal on each side but in a different position (one side could have the pal holding his arms up). After both pals are drawn, they are attached to a drinking straw. Your child can then hold the drinking straw in his hands and spin the straw. The action pal will look like he's changing positions! Drinking Straw Hawaiian Lei — Let your child make a beautiful Hawaiian lei using handmade flowers and drinking straws. Simply cut out flower shapes and color them as desired. The flowers can also be decorated with glitter, gems, stickers, or whatever your child wants. Then you simply punch holes in the center of the flowers and string them on a strand of straws that have been taped together. Drinking Straw Mini Kite — Your child will love making a little kite using six drinking straws and tissue paper. You need to string the straws together and then form a tetrahedron shape. Then you glue tissue paper on to the straws for make the kite. A bit of string and a tissue paper tail completes the project.
