If you are a gifted writer and can effectively put your thoughts into words, writing articles just might be for you. There are several websites that pay you to write. Associated Content, Triond, and Helium are just a few. Some sites will pay you upfront payment, but most will pay you on a revenue sharing basis. Each site has a different way to share revenue. Most will either pay you per view or share the revenue per ad click. The most important thing when writing articles is attracting readers. You have to develop a following in order to get views. Promoting your work after you write your article is critical. You have to use social bookmarking sites, Facebook, e-mail the links to friends etc. You will find that promoting your articles successfully is the hardest part of the process, but it is a necessary step. Writing articles for money is a long and tedious process but it can pay in the long run.

Surveys

Filling out surveys can be interesting and financially rewarding. The key is to sign up with as many companies as possible. You should sign up with a minimum of 10 so that you will receive surveys on a regular basis. Most companies will have profiles for you to fill out. It is very important that you fill out these profiles completely. This is how they match you with the right survey. Many times you will not qualify for a survey because they are looking for a certain group of people. Don’t get discouraged; the more you fill out, the more they will send you. You won’t get rich from filling out surveys, but it is a fun way to find out about new products before they hit the market.

Start your own website

Creating your own website is also a good way to make money. You can have an information site about any subject you want and then place ads on the site. Companies will pay you a percentage of the revenue made from the clicks on the ads. You have to drive a lot of traffic to your site to get the money rolling in.
