To ask if God loves some people more than others is a question that reflects a lack of relational experience with - and understanding of God and who He is. The scriptures tell us that God is love. God's love has little to do with us. It is His nature; who He is. His love doesn't change from one person to the next.
He is love, and He loves us all - as if each of us were the 'only' one He loved.
Yet He deals with us according to who we are and where we're at in our thinking, judgment and the paths we pursue
Jesus said: "What man is there of you, whom - if his son asked for bread will give him a stone instead? Or if he asked for fish, would give him a serpent? If you then being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly Father give good things to those who ask him?" (Matt. 7:7-11)

Yet, David regarded God and acknowledged Him in actions, not just in words or rituals. Although David made many mistakes and committed some terrible, sinful blunders, God described David as: " a man after mine own heart." (1 Sam. 13:14)
People might be able to fool others, but no one can fool God. He sees who and what we are, and yet - His love doesn't change. What does change, is the way God deals with each individual according to where they're at.
People tend to judge others by their sins, faults and weaknesses. The outward appearances. Yet God judges us by our hearts; it's attitude and position. (1 Sam. 16:7)
Regardless of our sins, He looks at what our hearts desire and what is important to us.
God doesn't love some more than others. His love is there for all of us.
There's a scripture verse which says: "Behold the goodness and severity of God." (Rom. 11:22) This means God's love is both good (kind), and severe (rough).
Just as an earthly father would prefer his children to remain in the
