My scars are my story,
My scars are my pride, and did not come without a fight.
If you know me well you know the story they all tell.
Some brought joy while others brought hell.
My children brought the scars of joy.
A blue eyed baby girl and a bouncy baby boy.
My scars will tell the story when my time is over.
When I lie in a field of clover
the scars will let the world know that I fought the good fight but fate took the upper hand.
I wear my scars with a sense of pride without the scars I would not have memories of the ride.
