Have you ever heard someone embarrass themselves with a horrible line like that?  Pick-up lines will simply not work most times.  It is much better to use opening lines which are much more successful.

What is an opening line?  It is a simple line that is used to work your way into a conversation with woman.  It is not an overt attack but a subtle way to get her to speak with you.  All men should strive to use opening lines they are the best way to approach women.  In this article I discuss the ways that cheesy pickup lines and opening lines are different and how much more effective the latter can really be…

•  How is an opening line different than a cheesy pickup line

The cheesy lines by their nature are meant to stand out and be shocking.  Using a line like, “We are going to have sex later, are you interested?”   Can get her to laugh.  It can get her to talk to you.  It does show your confidence;   it does these three good things.  But it stops there.   It also makes you seem like a player and telegraphs your interest.  It does not really spark any natural interest by itself and it frankly puts a woman on guard.  It can be fun to try cheesy lines on women.   But that is all it is; a way to have a good time and see how creative you can be, not as a serious attempt to attract women.

•  Opening Lines, the Best Way to Approach Women

You may ask, “What EXACTLY is an opening line?”   This is simple.  It is anything you use that is a conversation starter that may spark interest and attraction in a woman.  For example, I used one just 3 hours ago on a girl I met at a coffee shop.  (OK, Starbucks, I admit I go there, to my everlasting shame)  I saw she had a Stieg Larrsson book in her hand.  I have read those books, so I knew what they were about, but I played dumb, “Excuse me, sorry to bother you, but I see you have the new Larrsson book.  I have been thinking about reading that series for a while, what do you think of it, I ask because you look like a real smart girl”   We ended up sitting together and talking for about 30 minutes and I got her number.  This type of genuine interaction can work much better than cheap tactics

•  Always be genuine in your lines:   It shows.

Opening lines will work and they will increase your results with women, guaranteed. A little bit of honestly and a genuine approach will do you a lot better than any sort of lame pickup attack.  Work on your opening lines now to be more genuine with women.
