It's not funny when you lose your mind
People can be so unkind
They ask me what is my name
They think I'm just playing a silly game
When I say just a moment, now what can it be
Any moment now it will come to me
I rarely see my relatives anymore
And when they do visit they think I'm just a mindless bore
Lucky the nursing home people care and are really great
They show patience and deal with people who share my same fate
But when my relatives ask for money it's a fun time you see
I say I can't remember my bank details but wait, it'll come to me
When I was young I had a mind like a steel trap
Curse this disease, I get so angry I feel I could snap
I can't remember if I'm seventy or ninety four
And when I think of the future I feel scared for what's in store
But I really shouldn't worry I have my faith for all of eternity
And someday the good Lord will come to me

Poetry: Come to me
When you close your eyes and feel forlorn,
When all seems lost, and hope is long gone,
Don't wither away, rotting in your
When your heart has been broken in too
many pieces, come to me and I will help
you put yourself back together
When you feel
Twist; like leaves of the willow
Droplets of then, now and when
Taste the nectar that flows free
Of the thought that follows
COME TO ME
Leave the herd, and come to me,
And we will roam the wilds with glee.
Gallop from the greenest field,
And so become
by Francis Jock
Whenever I pray,
It will come back to me,
In a while or so,
It comes.
Long forgotten, or
Dearly begotten,
Each comes back to me,
