What is Xomba?

by Jared Davidson

Created on: August 07, 2010

Xomba is a social bookmarking and writing site where users can contribute to make money. Signing up is a simple process and only takes a few minutes. Once you are signed up, you can sign up for a Google Adsense account if you don't already have one. When you write an article or post a bookmark, your Google Adsense account will post relevant ads related to your article. When someone clicks on your ads you make money. Xomba shares profits at a rate at 50/50. If someone signs up under your name, a percentage of the profit they make is given to you.

Bookmarking:

If you find an article or a webpage that you find interesting and you think other people might find it interesting as well, you can submit it to Xomba. You must write at least 50 words about the site you are bookmarking. This has to be your own words, you can not copy and paste the information. I find that book marking recent popular news stories is good for the short term but not for the long term. Recipes and how to guides are really good for long term revenue. One of my most productive articles is a recipe. It doesnt pay much per click but it gets a steady number of clicks each month.

Articles:

You can also chose to write original articles on Xomba. These articles are required to be 150 words long. These also can not be copied from someone else's works. Xomba does allow you to duplicate your article on another site but doesn't recommend it since duplicate articles have a lower ranking in Google search. I have a few articles on Xomba which make money regularly.

Advantages to Xomba:

Other than the potential revenue you make from ads, you can use Xomba to make money on other sites. When you write an article on another revenue site such as Helium, you can bookmark the article on Xomba to get more traffic. This can make a significant difference in the amount of views you get on each article. You have the chance to earn double profits this way. First when someone finds your bookmark on Xomba they could potentially click an ad. If they do not click one of your ads but instead follow your link then you get revenue from them reading your article.

Xomba does not make you write about specific subjects. The only limits are that you can not write about illegal activities and anything pornograpic.
