How to achieve lasting weight loss

There are a variety of ways to lose weight. If you start to do exercises regularly and reduce your food intake, it’s easy to lose some pounds fast in the short term. In the long term, you may try the following ways to achieve lasting weight loss success:  

1.  Stay away from overweight friends, while you are trying to lose weight.

It might be not nice to make this suggestion. It seems cruel and discriminatory for your overweight friends. However, if you always stay with overweight people, they may influence you in a negative way: you may eat more, spend less time exercising or even abandon your weight loss goals. Instead, you should spend more time with skinny people. They can teach you how to choose the healthy low-calorie foods from the market; you can learn some low-carbohydrate recipes; you can learn how to schedule your daily activities more reasonably as to maximize your metabolism.

2.  Find a second job to keep yourself busy.

Why are you overweight? Let's be honest! Do you always enjoy the long evenings in front of TV, while holding a big bag of high-fat chips in the your hand? Or you love to enjoy restaurant food with your friends each weekend?

If you want to achieve lasting weight-loss success, you’d better stop filling your leisure time with food. You may find a part-time work (paid or volunteer) to keep you busy. 3. Find your favorite exercises.

As experts recommend, one important trick to achieve lasting weight-loss success is to exercise regularly. In order to guarantee the regular frequency of your workouts, you’d better figure out which exercises that really interest you.

Besides, you don’t have to limit yourself to certain exercises. You can change your exercises each week so that you won’t get bored easily with a simple workout program. Changing your exercise program frequently can effectively train different parts of muscles on your body.

When you feel energetic and dynamic, you can do some high energy-consuming aerobic exercises, such as jogging outdoor, playing beach volleyball or aerobic dancing. When you feel tired, you can go to swim or do some yoga exercises which can help you relax your tight muscles.
