Making money online is something that a lot of people are looking to do to get some extra money. But the problem is when other people create websites promising big payouts if users pay money, they will receive large payouts after they do something for the website, whether it’s pay-to-click, pay-to-read, mainly those sites seem to have more scams than other websites that offer you work.
People are worried about being scammed. But how do you know that a website is legitimate and you will be paid by them. Some tips to help you make sure that you won’t be scammed:
1. Find reviews for websites:
Before you join a website that claims to pay a lot of money for work, check around the web for reviews. You can use Google and put the name of the website and then add the word “review” after it and try to find reviews on a website, and try to find if the website is a scam.
2. Use Helium to look for reviews too:
Helium has a lot of reviews on the website. Many of them are website reviews. If you are not sure if the site you want to sign up for is a scam, search for reviews of it on Helium and then read the reviews to see if the website is a scam or not. If a website is a scam, the author will let you know that they had a bad experience with the website, if it was a good experience they will write about that as well. Helium is a great website for reading website reviews.
3. Look up Discussions on MyLot:
MyLot.com is a forum where users post discussions and ask questions. Many of the questions are, “is (insert name of website) a Scam?” Many users want to know because they want to find places to earn online money as well, and searching for discussions about scam websites is very helpful in finding out if a website is real or a scam trying to waste your time and money.
4. Use PTC-Investigations.com:
http://ptc-investigation.com/default.aspx is a website dedicated to investigating popular PTC websites that claim to pay a lot of money to their users, they sign up for these websites and use them until either they are paid or they are scammed. Afterwards, they review them for users of their website to read about. It is a very good website and they are constantly updating to keep up with the PTC websites that come and go all the time. This website is highly recommended as a way for you to research a website before joining it.
In order to avoid being scammed out of money that you spent, or to avoid wasting time working on a website and then never receiving pay for your work, be sure to do plenty of research and make sure to discover as much as you can about a website before joining it. That way, you can save yourself a lot of anger and frustration that comes from being scammed out of pay that you earned or money that you invested in a website hoping you would get paid. Just remember, if the payout seems too good to be true, as in little effort for a lot of money, then it probably is too good to be true. Just be careful and you’ll be able to earn money online without being scammed.
