Break-ups: When strength fails

Lately I've been thinking, when do being strong or staying strong isn't enough?

I'd like to think I am I've been strong. Very strong when it came to things; like what happened between me and my father, my first passing ever on my mother's side of the family, not knowing where I would live when I had a problem with a ex friend of mines when we were living together. I've survived all those things but I think being strong is finally starting to wear thin. Very thin, I can't tell you how many times I cried over my break up with Lamont and I've cried over my financial situations and just sometimes I feel like crying. I'm talking just driving in my car and a particular song will come on and before you know it tears are here.

Well I have a family situation and the problem is on my father's side. Honestly I can't even tell you when the last time I've seen them. Actually it's when my grandfather passed. Just the site of seeing pain makes me cry. I stood in ICU where my cousin is and just seeing all these machine's hooked up to him I don't cry in front of everyone but once I get in my car or somewhere I know I'm alone and it is all done.

Seriously is there an end to strength? I like to believe there's not but I guess depending on the person's strength can go a long way or it can just go and eventually collapse.
