I’ve got so much time to kill
and I cant afford to get caught
Young and ill
My life is cut short

Change is constant
but I’ve been so short changed
The time to kill is so distant
The past will have to be rearranged

Age and time
Don’t go together

To kill time would be the perfect crime
For time is a bother
When the alarm bells rings
and cut short your wings
to fly to a future
knowing you will never be here

Closer your thoughts become
Farther
The thought of a knife
Makes you numb
You can cut the tension with your life
The air thicker
With so much time to kill making me sicker

Closer
I stalk my prey
For the thief of time is my sworn enemy
Every second I need to get out of my way
For the clocks mocks me

Even with so much time on my hands
I cannot find time to bring closer amends

Time may make you forget
Or regret
But when you looking for the thief of time to kill
You kill
At will

I wash the blood of my hands
This is now where the thief of time stands
Dead still
