One of the most used scrapbooking ideas is by mothers to make a scrapbook for their babies. A baby scrapbook can be fun for a mother to create, if she can find the time to make it. If you invest some time in making a scrapbook for and about your baby now, you will have a wonderful keepsake for the years to come.
Follow some of the ideas given below and save yourself some time in making that baby scrapbook.
1. Scrapbook baby's growth: Babies grow fast and you would do well to capture this on your scrapbook page. If you are using a single-sided page, then go for one picture of the baby taken every few months. If you choose a double-sided page, then you could probably afford to use one picture of your baby taken every month. Arrange the pictures in chronological order or if you prefer, make a collage. Just leave some space to mark the date each picture was taken. It would be wonderful to see how much your baby has grown over the year.
2. Scrapbook adorable baby moments: Babies are cute. They do cute things. That is one reason why we love them. Take a picture of your baby's toothless smile, click that camera when she is crawling happily all over your living room. Drooling mouth, chubby fingers - capture them all. A scrapbook page made from these pictures will make those who see it go "aw-so-cute".
3. Scrapbook baby milestones: While making a baby scrapbook, it is important to allocate some pages for your baby's milestones. The first time he smiled at you, stood up on his own or the first time he said "maamaa" (or "goo gaa"), these moments are to be cherished. It is ok if you do not have a camera handy at all these times; you could make a journal page describing what happened and how you felt. Add information like the date, place and your child's age.
4. Scrapbook mommy and baby together: It is your baby. Go ahead and make a page dedicated to the unique bond between you and your baby. While you are at it, you could also make "Daddy and Baby" or "Big Brother and Baby" pages. You get the idea.
Watching a baby grow is one of the most cherished experiences of motherhood. When you capture special moments in your baby scrapbook, you preserve some of those memories for posterity.
