She Dreams
She lays down and shuts her eyes
To rest her weary soul
It is from a hard day at work
To which her body has taken its toll.
This isn't what she had planned for her life
It's not what she wanted to do
But sometimes life takes you a different path
Now she is a single mother of two
She dreams of going back to school
And buying big new house
But, little did she know
She would grow up to marry a louse
Someone who would steal her heart
Eventually he would throw it back
Leaving her to raise the kids
And throwing their lives off track
She dreams of a time
When things weren't quite so rough
She dreams of a solution and finally
She has had enough
As she awakes, she writes it down
Everything she needs
She will climb over ever obstacle
Until her fingers bleed.

When she wakes
What travels she did take

When love was everlasting and she believed in everything.

something terrible happened.
