The debate on whether a 30-year-old should date an 18-year-old

It is perfectly normal to think that a 30-year-old man dating an 18-year-old-girl is not so common. An 18 year-old-girl is usually someone without much life experiences. The kind of experience which requires tests and trials that would improve our sustainability or simply make what we have, better. It would be wiser if the older man is willing to give her more time to think about her future. It is about understanding and trusting which are essential in any relationship. It also takes tremendous faith to allow yourself to think and act upon what is best for the welfare of the girl you love. No matter how mature you think a girl can be at the age of 18, you have really missed it.

It is not entirely also about the age gap, but the age group instead. If a guy, on the other hand, was in his 32-year of age and his girlfriend, a 20-year-old young lady, that seems likely to be more acceptable and more decent being together, as a couple. However, we must not neglect the fact that, like many who say, "Age is only a number"; I must also say by adding that, the number does play a crucial factor as the couple ages. I once read, every decade changes someone in a significant way. The changes in the physical aspect of a person which affects the physical part of the relationship. The interests and activities of older men may sharply decline from being active to passive. Decade after decade, the health changes in somewhat, a huge way, if not drastic.

By the time a man reached his age of 70, the younger partner would only turned 58. I have read how unhappy it could be as a widow wrote; when her husband died at 64, she turned a widow in her 50's. Here is an extract from her comment to an article called: Why Do Older Men Date Younger Women? , “ When I was in my early 20's I married a man 12 years older than me. I had three beautiful children with him. I think the attraction at that time was that 1) he was very attractive and 2) he also treated me way better than guys my age. As far as going out to nice places. And we were very compatible. But here I am in my 50's and I am widow. He passed away when he was 64 from cancer. Looking back I would never tell any younger girl to date or marry an older man. So here I am in my 50's and the guys in my age group want to date woman that are 10 and 20 years younger then them. So that leaves me with men that are in there 60's and 70's again . . . .”.

Personally, I have fallen in love with a girl who is nearly 5 months and 9 years
