When Britney Spears came out with her first CD’s in the late 90's, honestly, you could tell from her music videos and her songs that she was not going to be the type of singer to hide everything from you. Like Christina Aguilera you could tell these girls wound bring it on in the music industry without in regards to younger teens. They should have never been teen idols, but this was also when America started becoming more sexual towards women and teenage girls who looked well older and beautiful than they appeared.

Now in 2010, Britney Spears has had I would say a few great songs that had come out on her Circus Album. She had told the media and paparazzi that she is 28 now and is going to be a little bit more risqué than how she ever was. A lot of controversy came over one of her song titled "If you see Amy." Honestly, their seemed nothing wrong with the song other than mothers not realizing that Britney Spears was no longer the little girl;s idol, but a grown up who quite frankly broke away from that persona. After marriages gone wrong and dumb decisions in hanging out with the wrong crowd (Such as Paris Hilton) who for some reason seems to turn other celebs crazy, she began a horrific lifestyle that has now changed for the better.

Miley Cyrus on the other hand is still 17 and is still perceived as the Hannah Montana Idol. From a personal view point, I could never stand the show nor her singing. She sounded like a banshee that was just trying way too hard to be the good girl. I knew what was going to happen after her Disney Phase mostly due to how quickly she changed. Could drugs be involved? Who knows, honestly, I wouldn't doubt it. Miley Cyrus has a lot of issues because she seems to not understand the crowd that idolizes her. She seems to not understand the difficulties of being a role model and is trying to break away from it at the age of 17; wearing risqué outfits and pole dancing on stages while "fake kissing" girls on stage. I am not against Bisexuals, lesbians or gays, but I do not understand how you could fake a kiss on stage. Her music videos are completely different from what the song actually means and I believe that might be why some parents are starting to get angry with her.

While Britney Spears understood that she was an Idol, Miley Cyrus does not seem to realize it. There is nothing similar between the two other than Miley Cirus has grown very quickly in fame just like Britney Spears. However, Britney Spears became more
