There are over a million bloggers in cyberspace and each have their own reasons for wanting to know how they can boost traffic to their blogs. Some may already be getting massive amount of traffic to their blogs but this number is few compared to the majority of bloggers who are still struggling to get traffic.

Before we talk about how to boost traffic to your blogs, let's look at the other side of the picture. As a blogger and a surfer of the internet, you're also traffic to other websites and blogs. Therefore, what attracts you to a website or a blog would also attract others to your blog.

Ask youself these questions :

1. What makes you visit a blog again and again?
2. What makes you bookmark a blog?
3. What makes you subscribe to the blog's feed?

Answering the above questions honestly would reveal to you how you can boost traffic to your own blog.

If you're like many other internet surfers, your answers to the above questions would undoubtedly be the content of the blog and the way the blogger presents the information. You wouldn't want to visit a blog which consists of only advertising banners and what content it has are only screaming "Buy me! Buy me!" Therefore for you to attract traffic and repeat visits to your blog, your blog content must be useful to your visitors.

You want your content to be found by search engines especially Google because most internet searches are made through search engines and Google is the most popular search engine among internet searchers. According to Google only the first twenty results on their search results pages get clicked on. Therefore, it is necessary that your content get to the first twenty positions or you won't see any visitors to your blog.

First and foremost, you need to get indexed by Google meaning that Google must place your content in their directory. You can get Google bots to crawl your blog by submitting your blog to its directory. And while you're doing that, you can also submit your blog to other search engines and blog directories.

When an internet searcher enters a keyword at Google search box, Google will look through its directory to return the most relevant sites. If your content has the keyword that the internet searcher is looking
