Reflections: On aging

As I reached a milestone birthday this year and  reflected on my  own  aging process,  so many things came to mind.    Reflection  has added  depth and understanding to my life thus far, and has also given  me insight into  how  I transformed along my journey of life.  Many things have changed   through the  years. And I have noticed that with every birthday, I do feel a little bit older. I am not sure if it is purely  psychological, or just a fact of life, because every year older ages our bodies, and minds for all of us.

I am sure I did not get  more veins, but, the ones I have  definitely made themselves more visible to the naked eye. That brings me to the next noticeable change around my eyes. I understand the terminology crows feet now. Yes, I do have those lines which look very much like the foot of a crow. Now I see why people came up with that analogy, it is appropriate, although not very flattering.

Smiling always makes the face look so appealing, but, I must say, too big a smile brings out those dreaded
