Product reviews: Lush Sexx Bomb bath ballistic

This Sexx Bomb ballistic from Lush has been a personal favourite for a long time; before I started buying Lush for myself, my daughter would bring me a little something each time she went, plus the occasional gift set when I'd looked after my granddaughters or otherwise done her another favour.  I remember Sexx Bomb was the very first thing I ever tried from Lush and this first one was smashed up, my daughter had been given it when she spent her usual fortune in Lush as a sample because it had been broken.  She didn't like the smell so that was how I ended up with it, and my addiction was born.

The olde worlde floral smell of Sexx Bomb is absolutely delightful.  The main aroma is jasmine but this is nicely blended with ylang ylang, creating a lovely flowery bouquet which is surprisingly strong considering how prettily understated the ballistic looks.  There is a rose scent to be detected in the bath ballistic too, although there's no suggestion of rose in the list of ingredients but this ballistic does include the all-encompassing label of 'perfumes' so the rose is quite possibly hidden in there.

The idea behind Sex Bomb is that the blend of essential oils and body moisturisers will create an aphrodisiac effect, which is rather odd (and not altogether appropriate) considering the ballistic was inspired by an 8 year old in a competition run by Lush some years ago!

The jury is still out as to whether this ballistic will turn me into a vamp, but it's certainly a very nice ballistic indeed and one I continue to buy although there are increasingly more products I want to try over this old faithful.  One submerged the ballistic turns the water a delicious pink colour which is extremely feminine and relaxing, the ballistic itself is actually very pretty too with it's pastel pink and lilac colours and little rose poking out of the top.

The smell lingers nicely in the bathroom while there is steam in there but this isn't a ballistic which will scent your entire house as some  do.  The scent does linger nicely on my skin but it quickly disappears if you use even a very light unscented body lotion afterwards, which most people will usually need to do after using Sexx Bomb.

This is why it's slipped in my affections recently,  it just doesn't do enough for my skin compared to other ballistics and bubble bars sold by Lush.  It makes the water slightly softer but
