When you have a website that is compliant it means that your website follows all the rules set forth by the W3C, which stands for the “World Wide Web Consortium.” The reason for the rules is to set the direction for webmasters to make the compliant site more efficient on the web, which in turn, helps the user have an easier time with the website. However just because you follow the rules of the W3C does not mean you stop there. There is more to being SEO Compliant. By taking the time to make your website SEO compliant, you also help you to follow the rules of the search engines you are aiming to get ranking from. The higher your search engine ranking; the more chances that your site will be found when someone is searching for the valuable information you provide, and the more likely that your products will be bought by that person. Your will need to pay close attention to how you create the information you want your clients to have, the way that you write will help you to get rank from the search engines, and maintain that ranking.

Some search engines such as Google have more than 200 different guidelines that a website will need to adhere to in order for it to be compliant with Google spiders, and help the sites ranking. Your Site needs to be updated and improved regularly to ensure that the search engines will be able to easily examine the site and to be able to penetrate the deepest recesses of your website. However many times a website may have some problems that may prevent the spiders from getting around on your website. When you get your site SEO compliant, you will find that more people enjoy hanging out at your site because it is easier to use, while you gain more page rank from search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Bing and MSN. These will help to increase your traffic more than 200%, because not only are you more recognized but SEO compliance also makes you more users friendly.
