YES! I believe that 110% the father should have an equal opportunity to have a say in whether or not the mother should get an abortion. If he cannot even have a say in that, then why do we have father's on this place we call earth? In every decison with a baby or a child, the father has just as much say in everything just as the mother does. It is just like saying a man AND a woman both cannot decide what house to buy or what car to rent. Remember when women had no right to vote? It is just like that. Except it is the other way around. Why don't you think about that?
It is definitely not fair that alot of men do not have a say in pregnancy decisions. I am completely against abortion, but if the man wants to put his two cents in, he should be able to. Even if you already know what he is going to say or you just have this feeling you are not going to agree with him, you should let him say it anyway. It is his child too! If it was me, I'd want his opinion. In the end, you just want what is best for the both of you; whether it would hurt the both of you or make the both of you very happy and excited.
Another reason men should have a say in an abortion is just this; they just might be right. Alot of times, and I hate to admit this, but men are right 90% of the time; whether you want to believe it or not. Let's just say you want to get an abortion. The man would give you all the reason why it would NOT be the best option. He might say that a good option would be adoption or your alls best decision if you are not ready to have a baby at that moment.
Alot of you women out there (yes, I am a woman speaking to women) probably do not agree with men being part of the decision maker when it comes to deciding whether or not to have an abortion. Well, I've never had an abortion or thought about having one, but I do know this; men and women are equal. We both work and we both have hearts. So, why shouldn't men have a say in that kind of decision making?
