you fell into me
knocked to the ground
a dream from the sky
your betrayal
took my heart carefully in your hands
shattered me
held it close
and laughed
me next to you
the pain caused to real
warm skin
like road rash
hot breath
cold shoulders
deep looks
shallow opinions
into my soul
of everything
past everything i'm not
trying to change me
connected in a way unknown
withdrawn
beyond Fate
with no hope
and the universe
intact.
