The girl scouts of america hijacked by the liberal agenda

I've got to weigh-in against GOPMOM, too. What's wrong with the liberal agenda? What's wrong with being against racism, poverty, lack of opportunity, inadequate healthcare, irresponsible wars, damage to the environment, and so on? What's wrong with having Planned Parenthood - which tries to prevent unwanted babies from being born to unprepared moms - as a supporter?
The Girl Scouts were founded on a liberalizing mission: to raise girls up and give them new opportunities to become leaders. Conservatives never would have started an organization to teach girls how to become entrepreneurs, scientists, and thinkers.
I'm more fearful of the way the right wing tries to hijack the Boy Scouts, of which my son is a member. The Boy Scouts continually get into these fights over gay scoutmasters, and unfortunately, the Scouts often knuckle under to conservative prejudices. That's where the fight should be focused today.
