The best cell phone in the world is the one that meets your desires and demands of its owner perfectly, efficiently and reliably. Such a topic could not be more subjective in nature. Where a technology savvy person may argue that the best cell phone is latest and greatest model with the highest approval rating, another person, perhaps elderly, may look at such a phone and cringe at the thought of even learning to use it. One person may decide that the best phone is the one with the easiest keyboard for texting and best camera for pictures, while another person may not care at all about keyboard and pictures and would rather their phone browse the web and play MP3s.

Although the answer to such a question may seem simple enough, the questions that must be answered in order to accurately decide which phone is best for you deserves a great deal of thought. After all, for most of us, our phones are an integral part of us, they sit alongside our keys or wallet and go with us everywhere we go. Why wouldn't you decide which phone is actually perfect for your needs? There are a few fundamental things to consider before making the purchase of a new phone that may make the decision easier and ensure that buyer’s remorse stays far away.

What do you want out of your phone?

Preliminarily making the decision about what is most important to you in a phone may open your eyes to the possibilities when actually browsing for your new phone.

If you're a picture taker, and a high-resolution camera should be important to you along with a decent amount of internal memory and a slot for expansion of even more memory. Perhaps even a chord that is included with the phone to upload your pictures to your computer. For the perfect phone for a photographer and media junkie, look into the Samsung Behold 2, or the LG projector phone offered by AT&T.

If you love web browsing, then you will likely want a phone with a very large display. Such displays usually come as touch screen now days, which isn't a bad thing because touch operating systems such as the Apple iPhone's or Android are easily the best for browsing online. In fact if you do consider web browsing to be a key component of your phone, along with games and fun applications, then the latest generation of the iPhone is likely going to be your perfect phone. Optional alternatives would be a phone running the newest Android system such as the HTC Mytouch slide, Motorola Droid, or Sprint Samsung Evo.
