Poetry: No one can see

 No One Can See

No one can see the tears I cry

As they walk by and I just say hi.

No one can see the hurt I've been through

They don’t know my life, they don’t walk in my shoes

No one can see as the pain is inside

I put up a good front and emotions I hide

No one can hear my screams in the dark

They stay inside me, they leave their mark

No one can hug the hurt away

It is something I live with everyday

No one can see that I am falling apart

I have a shield around my heart

No one can see my depression is here

I fight everyday so, I won’t disappear

No one can see that I am searching you see

I am looking for that familiar person I used to be
