Competition is an age old concept and people in general are very competitive. I think that in sports and on the job, men tend to be a bit more tenacious and competitive, but when it comes to everyday things such as relationships, nails, and body type, women are aggressive and nasty in their quest to be better than their friends. There is a saying that when women compete it is art because we do not come right out and declare war on our competitor, we will pull them into our inner circle and break them down to where we feel superior. Once the superiority has been established, women will then become more aggressive in their quest of becoming the ultimate leader...the one with the best job, the best nails, the best body and yes, the best husband.
When we see a woman becoming better than us, we become catty and find things to pick apart. Once order has been restored and we once again reign in our group of friends, relatives and acquaintances, we relax and others wish that they too were so serene and calm as you are.
This is a quandary that we will always examine and try to analyze. However, if you are not a woman and have never experience the art of our competition, you will never truly understand or be able to analyze our methods.
