The time has come dig well, dig deep
let earth protect this formless sleep
let history fade, let future creep
don't mourn for me, don't pause to weep.
As my form succumbs to rot
let my slate be wiped, my name forgot
let all my hopes remain as naught
and hopeless dreams erase, abort.

Poetry: Welcome death
by John White
stay back death …
i won’t stay back, come see your tomb
i’ve chased you since, your mother’s
I spied a bloody camper
In a bloody stream;
Rowing smoothly
Carving Time—
Sans a bloody team
Bloody solitary
"A Mayfly's Day"
Life is a collection of regrets
A series of sunrises and sets
But not for me, I get only one.
Welcome, Death!
Terrible Thanatos,
Please bring to me
An end to my suffering.
Take me from this life
That is such cruel torment.
Vacancy
There is a musket ball
Lodged in my throat
I can taste the darkness
,Heat slick poisonous
Tears slowly sliding down.
