Caring for the human machine: Exercise and diet

Created on: July 29, 2010

The human body is a biological machine, and like any machine it is prone to breaking down. In order to keep your body in tip top condition, what are things that you must do to ensure good health?  Exercise right, take in plenty of the correct foods and drink, and take plenty of rest. These are the things that you must do if only to stem the tide of obesity.

When people diet, they normally yo yo. By that I mean when one diet fails, they go onto the next one. This can be dangerous, especially to the heart, because of the stress that is creates, when you are constantly changing from one diet to another, Also, a diet in which you constantly feel hungry [normally diet food plans], is a diet that is not working.  Diet food plans are terrible for making people who are trying to diet, feel depressed, isolated, bad-tempered and hungry

Funnily-enough, lack of concentration, lethargy, and tiredness will happen if you eat too much of the same foods too without exercising, so it is a matter of balance.

Taking in plenty of  water will help flush out your system. This means that if you regularly take in water, it will then help your body remove harmful toxins. One way of knowing if your body is clear of toxins is if you can check the colour of your urine. If your urine is
