The birds of the dawn
It's quiet and peaceful
All over the world we are drawn
As the chorus begins our morn
Our feathered friends awaken us
We lie in our beds and hear the sound
At the early dawn they don't make a fuss
They just entertain us all around
They have a freedom we can only dream
A power to soar through the skies
A natural wonder beyond our imagination
The simplicity of a nice surprise
The season of spring is here
Flowers are beginning to grow
The birds are singing very clear
As I gaze through my window
Summer magic fills the trees with sounds
Chirping and singing happily
New adventures will begin new surrounds
As winter approaches and becomes blistery
They fly away to another land
Far distances they shall go
Over the seas they will soar with command
In other trees they will bestow
