"Losing you"
You are our daughter
now and forever.
Just because you
are not with us
does not mean we'll forget you.
Although we'll never know
the color of your hair,
never see your pretty smile,
never see your lovely hair,
hear your giggles or laughter,
I do know you'd been a great girl.
Do not fret little one,
for the pain that your
father and I still feel-
is not your fault, now or never.
You're with the Angels now,
safe and looked over upon,
but do know that
we love and miss you,
our dearest Katilin.

My twenty eighth birthday shaking hands with a past
I'd just as soon forget.
Today
