There is the ex-girlfriend, who broke your heart, and the woman you just got out of relationship with. You did not know they were friends, you didn't know they even knew each other. Well, guess what? They were in your social circle so they were bound to meet up with each other some day. It's inevitable although you should be deathly terrified.

So what are you going to do? Obviously, two is more dangerous than one. First, acknowledge all your mistakes in the relationship from the time you blew your ex off to get coffee with the cute blond you work with to the last argument you got in. All the little things add up. So you apologize to them sincerely. Tell them you want no bad blood between you and your former lover, and would like to be friends. Do this with both of them, and don't do it if you want one of them back.

Second, it's always good to use social networking sites for your own personal use. And you thought it was just to keep up with who is going to which party. Well, if you have both ex's as friends on facebook, myspace, or you are following them on twitter, you should keep your eyes open. See the kind of interaction they have or see if they are talking about you. Isn't that stalking? No, technically it's creeping, but you will know if anyone is talking about how you cheated on them or what they did to you when you blacked out on your girlfriend's birthday after drinking too much while watching football.

Remember, now that they are in each other's life that you can't get them away from one another. They exist because you exist so smile and pat yourself on the back for a job well-done.

What if they are talking about you? Well, deal with it. You probably shouldn't have cheated on ex-one with ex-two. You should've been more careful. Life is full of drama, and the people in it usually cause it (but no one likes to blame themselves). They will find new people, and forget about you and life will move on. Take pride that two lovely individuals became closer because of you, and call it a day. Besides, you may already be friends with one of their ex's, and then you can either be the better person or cause some massive mischief.
