Dearest mom and little brother,
we hold your spirit close.
We lost you that night,
but will never let go.
A tragedy it seems still holds us together.
You taught us love and gave us life.
Little brother I love you
and miss you deeply,
but you are with mom now
forever happy.
Love will keep us together forever I promise,
Dearest mom and little brother,
I will be with you soon,
take god's hand and wait for me.
We are living life to our fullest,
we are now adults with children.
I wish they could meet you today and not later,
but dearest mom and little brother,
we will have to wait.
we have full lives now and our own fate.

Self-taught

I'd thought you'd be here forever
I never thought you'd depart
Now two lonely hands
Hold my bleeding
