The summer tunes of birds on wing
take time to reach the ears of pure.
With wind to carry such a lovely thing,
a feather will drop to be too sure.
A love will blossom with the tune,
a flightless being with its mate.
The two forged souls find the plume,
and love becomes an endless state.
Plant or mammal or reptile or fish,
two become one to prepare for life.
As god will make it no longer a wish,
the two will stay together, one husband, one wife.
An endless journey of preparing to die,
in each others arms they will forever lie.
