Nova Scotia is one the Maritime Provinces of Canada and has been a popular destination since the French settled in the early 17th century. This is the home of the Acadians of Evangeline fame and it is renowned for its unique Bay of Fundy and history attached to the sea. You have to love a website that welcomes you with a video called Food and Wine , Lobster is just the beginning. Certainly no visit to Nova Scotia is complete without sampling at least one lobster dinner but as delicious as this video is there is more to Canada’s Ocean Playground than just lobster.  Nova Scotia.com is one way to find all the important tourist information.

Across the top of the homepage, above the mentioned video are a set of tabs that you can click to take you to more information. They include Discover Nova Scotia, Getting here and around, plan your trips, accommodations, things to see and do and a link to their Blog and forum.

Getting here and around has three sections, By land, By Sea and By Air. It also covers the visa and entry requirements Entry points are listed for ferries coming from the United States and other Canadian Provinces as well as cruise docking locations.

Getting around covers the areas of Nova Scotia, it is broken into seven areas. If you want to find the most scenic travelways, click on that link and a map comes up as well as links to information about each of the routes. No matter what you want to enjoy lighthouses, the Evangeline Trail or the Cabot Trail you will find the information here. There is also a distance calculator so that you can figure out how far you need to go.

Fundy Fun is the perfect site if you plan to make a visit to the incredible Bay of Fundy. The homepage has the expected dramatic photo but instead of having the tabs on the top of the picture, the row of tabs goes across the middle of the picture. They stand out because they are white.
