Poetry: The sky is the limit
He whispered in my ear, "The sky is the limit,"
if you give me a kiss it'll only take a minute.
You won't forget the warmness of my lips,
a little pat on those beautiful hips.
I'll treat you like the princess you are,
presents of flowers in beautiful jars.
A ring could be in the future, 'Who knows,'
I'll wait to see if you turn up your nose.
No-one else will ever capture my heart,
your blue eyes and black hair rips me apart.
Your smile lures me into your web,
dreams twist and turn while I lie in my bed.
I hope one day you'll know I need you,
give me a chance to show I care too.
I'll give you my heart to have and to hold
as we live day by day as we grow old."
