The world of heavy metal,some say thaqt it is a dark and twisted place.Alot have the illusion thaqt it is all satanic.Ok ill admitt that some of it is a bit on the devilish side but not all of it.More so if you look into the world without fear of what you will find you will find that there is a major thought process through all the screams and growls.just take a chance and listen to you may just be educated on sombody's battle with addiction.You can learn alot about the ocult amd you can tell just who is not happy with the way this country is run and throw that in with a bit of poetry and you have metal.

Moveing on to what i belive is the most intellegent band in metal today "Opeth".They use thier heads when they write the music that they play,the songs are very long and structured but when you read the words you can find some of it poetic.Gruelling distortion mixed with a beautifull clean tone brings thier music into perspective.The vocals are mixed with a very harsh tone met with singing unmatched by any other,if you cant find some respect for this band then i guess you listen to radio rock.Thus brings them into the light of the music world on two aspects it drives your hardcore needs and your radio friendly needs.
Now the radio version of metal gives people the wrong example of what people refer to metal.In some cases it even makes it out to be a joke.What i mean is all these bands are taking to one set of fans and that is the middle school of high school fan base.Which i agree that without it there would be alot of kids left without anything to listen to,but its lack of what most people refer to as structured is rarely found.Mainly do to the fact of alot of softcore punk just looking for a buck or two.If you want to find some of the best musicians on this planet ou have to get to the unerground world of metal.In turn then you will find the world of metal at its best.
i only used "Opeth" as an example of just what you can find in this world,Yes it can seem like a cruel dark place to be,but always remember there is always a light shining in even the darket places,even if you dont like the words at least listen to the music behind it and like i said you will find some of the best musician in the world.
Now ill be writing more on this subjuct as it comes to me.This is only an itroducton to an ongoing story that is so overlooked and just plane ignored that it has to reach the suface.Ill be bringing more bands to you and more reveiws on all this.And i hope that more people will follow suit on this subject,some will probaly be more informative than myself but i will share my thoughts and my education on this subject as it unfolds.For now ill go but will be back with this exciting story that needs to be told.This is the world of metal not an easy place to be.
