There is no better time to play your video games during a summer vacation lasting a few months. August is the last month to enjoy your summer holidays before school begins again in autumn. Let’s find out some new Playstation 3 games releasing in August.

1)   Disney Sing It – 3rd August 2010!

For some of you, this may not be your type of game, but if you enjoy singing as a hobby, you will certainly have no problem with this. This game features the classic songs of the past and present Disney films from Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Jungle Book, Lion King, Toy Story and several more! This also includes full HD screen videos and footages of each movie with a karaoke game play. Players will need to hit the right notes of songs and can sing solo, partner up for a duet and rival head to head. Another great feature is that award winning singer and actress Anika Noni Rose provides vocal exercises and tips to improve their singing from hitting slow and fast notes and using the microphone properly. Overall, this game provides the ability for beginner singers of all ages to practise and learn how to sing.

2)  Mafia 2 – 24th August 2010!

Mafia 2 will provide you a Hollywood like movie experience that engages you into the streets of an unforgiving city about a petty criminal who wants to escape the life of poverty and becomes swayed by the power of wealth and enters a life full of crime. This game takes you back to the 1940s filled with gunplay, knuckle driving and an interesting storyline.

3)  Auditorium – August 2010!

This is a weird musical puzzle game that needs you to discover and explore each level containing a new unique puzzle. It provides no instruction and is all about the experience. The game play involves you to manipulate ‘the flow’ of sound and light particles into audio containers. As you fill these containers in, the light transforms into sound and will sing a symphony if there is enough light collected.

4)  Sam and Max: The Devils Playhouse – Episode 5: The City that Dares not Sleep – August 2010!

The third season has returned with a bigger twist in the story. The Freelance Police are working on their jobs again while Max has been given psychic abilities from an unknown ancient source. Join the dog and rabbit adventures when they investigate the cause of these super powers with new a new set of abilities to combat against evil. However, several more evil doers are hunting these powers for their own evil work.
