Writing for the internet does not inhibit creativity. When people have to write assignments for school, there is usually a rubric that needs to be followed. There are specific guidelines, and if one does not follow the rules of the assignment, he or she will fail. When writing for the internet, there are many sites that have such guidelines and rules, however, there are also plenty of sites where an individual is able to write about anything that he or she desires. This ability to write freely allows one's creativity to flourish when writing for the internet.
Writing for the internet can help to develop a person's creativity. When one has to constantly write academic reports, he or she may become discourage as to the way in which the format of the piece always has to be so specific. Frequently during the grading process, the teacher may not agree with the person's style of writing, and make an abundance of corrections. Although corrections are good, people may become discouraged and conclud that their style of writing is unacceptable. The sites that allow for creative writing on the internet can provide people with the ability to explore their own writing abilities and to develop their own talents. For example, if a person decides to start a blog, he or she will be able to write about something that interests them. If a person signs up for an article writing site, the person may become better at writing about a variety of different topics. The online writing sites are often less critical than the corrections on a school term paper. Therefore, the person can learn to develop his or her technique without feeling overly discouraged.
Some people may believe that writing for the internet inhibits creativity. The reason for this is that some sites force people to write about only the topics that are posted on the site. This prevents a person from coming up with their own titles and ideas to write about. While having to write about a specific topic may not always be what every person prefers, it does not inhibit creativity. Most of the time, there will be some type of guideline to follow. If the guideline is simply just the title of an article, than that it not so bad. Individuals can still express their creativity based on the information that they choose to put in the article.
Writing online is a wonderful way for people to develop and express their creativity. There are so many different types of sites to write for. A person can choose to blog, write articles, poetry, or even books. Whatever one desires, the internet has. Everyone has his or her own preferences. He or she needs to know what they want, find the perfect site to write for, and then begin to write away.
