The European Union- why it is important to learn about

The EU (European Union) is important to learn about because it controls Europes politics, Europes future, and it holds each European country in a tight grip. It is without a doubt a union that will keep being here, and it will, as it does now, continue to influence its trade partners such as USA and China.

The Euro (the fellow currency of most of the nations in EU) influences the stock market as much as the American dollar (USD) does, and that is likely to remain so, in these years of financial crisis. It will in the coming years be a great trade partner for USA as it is now, and it is likely that the EU in the coming years will gain some of the industrial supremacy that China holds an iron grip to today. The EU and USA also shares very alike political opinions, and NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) has a lot of EU member countries. That means that the Americans today are fighting with people from EU countries in the Middle East.

This cooperation is likely to continue, considering the political views of EU and USA, the west. The cooperation is being blessed by high-government officials such as Barack Obama (USA), Angela Merkel (Germany), Nicolas Sarkozy (France), and David Cameron (UK).

EU and USA will always comprise the west, two continents with fellow values, spirits and dreams. Also EU is a highly interesting topic and easy reading about also, thanks to the thousands of blogs and news articles out there. Everybody has an opinion on EU nowadays; it is the future for not just USA, but the whole world.

There are also people who dislikes the EU, giving the opportunity of (if you have an opinion) debating with eurosceptics, and people that (maybe) are likeminded. Just try searching for a blog on for example www.wordpress.com. Loads of articles will show, and a whole new exciting world of political and financial situations will embrace you.

If you’re having anything to do with business, journalism, or even if you just have a small amount of stocks, it is absolutely vital to have at least a basic knowledge of the EU. Go to Wikipedia or another digital encyclopedia, and search for “EU”, it is easy, and it will broaden your horizons, giving you a much deeper knowledge about Europe, and European politics from 1975-present.
