They say I’m quiet, nice and shy
They say I never smile or cry
They think I never do a thing
They think those words would never sting
How wrong and cruel they always speak
To them, I’m boring, small and weak
They’ll never find out what’s inside
Within the shell where I can hide
For in my mind, my secret land

Mazes they will never know
Where my flying thoughts can go
Outside, I’m plain and they won’t care
But in my heart my beauty’s rare
My greatest friends live in my mind
My secrets they will never find.
