Grandpa helped my cousin Jake refinish his dream car too. When it came time to rejuvenate the chrome bumper the old man reached for his secret weapon - Coca Cola!

GRANDPA HATES BUMPER STICKERS!
The grimy old bumper stickers came right off after being doused with Coke.

GRANDPA ATTACKED THE RUSTY BOLTS WITH COKE
When Jake wanted to take the bumper off, he found one the bolts was so rusty he couldn't even attach a wrench. But this didn't phase Grandpa - the old man poured coke on a rag and let the cloth sit on the bolt for about fifteen minutes, after which Jack had no trouble removing it.

GRANDPA USED COKE TO CURE RUST ON CHROME
The wise old guy magically erased the rust spots on Jake's car's chrome bumper by rubbing the stains with a crumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola. The sugary pop is made with phosphoric acid and that ingredient somehow transfixed the shiny aluminum right onto the chrome over top of the rust.
