I've had a life for many years
With Jesus at my side
He's been with me through pain and tears
His love, deep and wide
Soon, I'll be leaving this place
Into life eternally
And I will see the Savior's face
Who's done so much for me
Heaven is, wherever He lives
Where His own shall live in peace
The place where our Lord abides
Where sorrow and suffering have ceased
The Holy City in all her glory
Will shine beyond the stars
I will be forever happy
Within the Savior's arms
