Fall
As the season loses its warmth
and gains in cold
this is the time, I love
to see the trees with beautiful colors.
The only thing I hate,
is being without you.
For without you,
I feel no true warmth
and the feelings I do hate
of being lonely and cold.
Without you I see but faded colors
because I miss you, my love.
I am thankful though, of our past love.
Things have been so different with the absence of you.
Since then I have lost the love of color
and I’m struggling to find warmth,
where my heart is dark, blue, and cold
and these feelings I hate.
When will I lose this hate
And once again feel the love?
To rid the feeling of cold
and maybe the thought of you.
I want to feel the warmth,
and to enjoy again the colors.
Right now, grey and blue are my colors,
and my colors I do hate.
I need your lost warmth
and your lost love.
You’re gone forever, but I still need you.
All that is left is this blistering cold.
I can’t seem to shake the cold
and bring life to our colors,
the colors that remind me of you.
I need to rid this hate,
and to feel the beauty of life’s warmth.
Warmth has found me, and has driven out the cold.
The love of life has come back, with the most beautiful colors.
The hate is gone, but I will always miss you…
