At 881 feet with a passenger capacity of 2018, the Norwegian Spirit is the perfect size. Walks are not too long and the smaller passenger capacity compared to some of the mega ships gives the feeling of much more space. While Norwegian is a budget line, the Spirit's decor is elegant and understated with lots of muted, neutral tones that one expects to find on much costlier ships. The atmosphere seems decidedly more upscale on this ship as well. Choose wisely, or you could end up trying to sleep underneath what sounds like bowling with frozen turkeys! (a personal, painful experience) Those that want to be near the action should choose accordingly and cabins near the elevators always ensure a shorter walk. The Spirit is quite
