For anyone who cares, I am not okay
I never thought I could ever end up this way
I've cried and I've lied, fought so long
An impossible battle that always goes wrong
My head pounds and my chest beats faster
To all the outsiders I'm a walking disaster
See all my bones poking from my skin
It started out so innocently, I just wanted to be thin
But I was overtaken, the disease, she invaded
So easily slipping into a person that I hated
How it all happened no one could see
She moved so quickly and now she lives in me
She was so lonely, looking to wage war
But I was so depressed and needed her more
That day in time, I learned my fate
The years to follow, my biggest mistake
She had lived alone and now lives in me
Holds me in chains, no longer free
