Do I eat to live, or live to eat?
The sweet smell of baked delicious items filling the air
The look of a tender juicy steak, cooked to perfection
As I looked on the plate that is before me, do I need what I have prepared?
Do I have to eat this meal today, or can I skip it ?
I am sure there is someone in this world that would love to have what I am about to eat
Everyday I take for granted the food that I eat
Everyday I act as if this is just supposed to happen
Being grateful for the abundance of food that I have is in order
I know there are is someone that would cherish what I have in front of me
This is why I thank God each time before I eat

Lick and nibble and a tender bite to!
Oh another slurp
