Poetry: Instant gratification

by Rivs Aikman

Created on: July 20, 2010

Wouldn't it be nice

If gratification was instant?

Just add water

(Hot, warm, or cold will do)

Stir

And serve as you like

Swallowing the satisfaction

Without much effort

Alas, life isn't simple

And gratification that seems instant

Doesn't last long

Or linger in one's memories
