I'm Only Laughing
Lately I have a heart, I've been crying
I'm not laughing at that, I'm laughing because we're dying
In almosts and nevers and lost meanwhiles
I can feel it all and I need no smiles
I'm not laughing at that, I'm laughing because we're dying
Sometimes when I convince myself I'm not lying
I can feel it all and I need no smiles
Other times I tell you what you want to hear
Sometimes when I convince myself I'm not lying
I'm not laughing at that, I'm laughing because we're dying
Other times I tell you what you want to hear
And it's a mask around my soul that you hold dear
I'm not laughing at that, I'm laughing because we're dying
Between all these blank smiles so good at lying
And it's a mask around my soul that you hold dear
Lately I have a heart, I've been crying
