Poetry: My destiny

by Tony Gomes

Created on: July 20, 2010

Thou strangely it happened

How greatly enhanced

The world gains its own reign

From gods with unbeknown whereabouts

Miniature people with vicious circle abomination

The amplitude of its magnitude beleaguered for a “catch-22”

I emphasize my trifling, close to nothing quandary

Am I all that am to be?

As I digress in my progress

So does the world befuddle

As its skim on the drifted horizon

Making hurricanes sweep up the remainders

Underground world apprise overseas

As we swim viciously against life’s angry currents

To a demeanor place, least common

Wish for a magic endeavor in my most commonplaces

Greener pastures right under my every step of the way

Understand life’s flimsy purpose

A concise task

Deliberately at your hand

Ready to unfold my destiny delegate

Unclench slowly the map of your life

And let it transpire
