Because of the large number of websites and blogs that appears everyday on the Internet, most search engines have very strict rules.  They cannot simply give authority to any blog or website.  There are many SEO mistakes that hurt your blog. One mistake on your part will not be tolerated by the search engines. These SEO mistakes are the culprits behind not getting enough traffic and not generating much money.  In this article, I am going to show you some SEO mistakes that hurt your blog.

Keyword Stuffing
This is the first appalling mistake that bloggers make.  It is true that Keyword Density in of paramount importance.  Keyword Density is the number of times your main keywords are used within your content.  This is beneficial as it helps the search engine spiders know what your content is about.  But when the number is high and your keywords are repeated more than enough, that’s called Keyword Stuffing. 

This is an example of Keyword Stuffing: “search engine optimization is very important for your website.  Search engine optimization can help you grow your business.  With search engine optimization, you can generate money and increase sales.  These are the benefits of search engine optimization”.

The oft-repeated search engine optimization is annoying to the reader and so it is for the search engines.  Such blogs or websites won’t get high ranking or good traffic.  In fact, it will get penalized.

SEO Titles
Not using your main keywords in your blog posts titles is one of SEO mistakes.  Whenever you post, you need to use your keywords in your title.  This helps the search engine spiders know what your content is about.

At the Beginning and at the End
It is said that the search engines spiders scan the beginning and the end of the content.  So mentioning your keywords there will be very valuable and helpful for them.  Mentioning them there will make your content easier to scan.  Therefore, not mentioning your keywords at the beginning and at the end is one of the SEO mistakes bloggers make.

The above-mentioned are some SEO mistakes that bloggers make.  To get the most out of the search engines, you need to avoid these mistakes.  The search engines are great sources of traffic.  I am sure you have heard that there is nothing like the search engine traffic.  It is huge and more importantly, it is free.  So make sure you avoid the aforesaid mistakes.
