Poetry: My destiny

by Steve Marshall

Created on: July 20, 2010

My destiny was linked into my fate.
My fate was sealed as my mission.
My mission was to be the me in me,
growing myself within God to be free.

Controlled destiny is digging up seeds.
Seeds only grow left all within the soil.
Choice and chance wear the pants,
but decisions will decide your destiny.

Destiny looks for you, if avoiding it.
Our destiny is all held within our self.
Destiny will come down from its shelf,
dragging us along, if we are unwilling.

Destiny links to us, one link at a time.
Destiny is silently attracted, unpursued.
We change our destiny, by fulfilling it.
Destiny is love trying to find its home.

We must reach higher to see our fate.
Grasping love, before it's all too late.
Love's seeds of fate grow into destiny.
Destiny becomes destiny, all realised.
